Reporting to Executive Director, Culture and Enabling Services. The Director, People and Culture is a strategic and operational leader at Scouts Canada, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, retention, payroll, benefits, and training. A significant part of the role also involves spearheading "Pillar 3" of the organization’s strategic plan, focusing on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within the organization at all stakeholder levels (staff, volunteers, and youth). The Director will ensure that Scouts Canada's culture and operational practices not only support the organization’s strategic goals but also reflect Scouts Canada's commitment to equity, inclusion, and a respectful work environment.
The Director possesses a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence and demonstrates a leadership style that emphasizes the professional growth and mental well-being of colleagues and members. The Director can apply complex ethical reasoning to organizational problems in a manner that provides practical solutions which are aligned with the mission and values of Scouts Canada.
This role is remote, and the candidate can be located anywhere in Canada.

Salary depends on skills and experience. The salary range for this position is $90,593.59 - $122,568.25 per annum.
